LAICRIL W-6532 is a self-crosslinking polymeric dispersion based on acrylic esters in aqueous medium, free from alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEOs) and coalescence agents, for the manufacture of wood varnishes (interior furniture), improving the resistance to domestic agents and alcohol.

Total solids: 37.5% ± 0.5 – Method I-10-31

Applications:

LAICRIL W-6532 dispersion may require a minimum addition of coalescent (< 2%) for the correct formation of transparent films. It is advisable to check compatibility with the most commonly used coalescents; butylglycol is recommended. Its use is recommended in low VOC environments, given its low coalescent demand. It is a fast drying, totally transparent, non-yellowing emulsion with excellent penetration and wetting of wood. The small particle size of LAICRIL W-6532, as well as its good water resistance, makes it particularly suitable for formulating impregnation varnishes for exterior wood protection systems.

The compatibility of this emulsion with fillers, pigments, additives and auxiliaries used in the varnish and paint industry is generally good, but it is recommended that appropriate tests be carried out to determine the amount and degree of compatibility of these products with the emulsion.
