Applications:
LAITEX B-754 is a high-solids styrene butadiene polymer especially designed for modifying cationic asphalt emulsions in paving applications:
⋅ Gravel watering.
⋅ Bituminous slurries.
⋅ Microsurface treatments.
The addition of LAITEX B-754 latex to cationic asphalt emulsions means an increase in the durability of roads and motorways.
Modification of cationic asphalt emulsions with this polymer means an increase in softening point temperature, a high percentage of elastic recovery and excellent cohesion properties of the bituminous binder.
Cationic asphalt emulsions modified with LAITEX B-754 latex are less sensitive to low and high temperatures.
To modify bituminous emulsions and improve their properties, 2-5% of the product LAITEX B-754 should be added on top of the asphalt binder.
Containers of LAITEX B-754 should be shaken before use.
