LAITEX B-733

LAITEX B-733 is an aqueous dispersion of a styrene butadiene copolymer.

Applications:

LAITEX B-733 is a high-solids polymer designed to modify cationic asphalt emulsions in paving applications.

To obtain a satisfactory improvement of the properties of the cationic bituminous emulsion, the addition of 2-5% solid polymer on top of the binder is recommended.

The addition of LAITEX B-733 polymer to asphalt emulsions means an increase in the durability of roads and highways.

The mechanical properties of the cationic modified asphalt emulsion are:

  • High elasticity.
  • Reduced sensitivity to both hot and cold temperatures.
  • Fast cohesion between layers.
  • Reduction in aggregate loss.
  • Better water resistance.
  • Increased softening point.
  • Decreased penetration.
