LAITEX B-470 is an aqueous dispersion of a styrene-butadiene copolymer for modifying anionic asphalt emulsions.

Applications:
By adding LAITEX B-470 to anionic asphalt emulsions:
- Increases water resistance, which means better waterproofing.
- Increases abrasion resistance and makes the asphalt slip-resistant.
- Increases impact resistance.
- Decreases soil loosening and increases the softening point.
- Reduces penetration, meaning it does not soften under mechanical stress.
- Prevents hardening at low temperatures and therefore brittleness.
LAITEX B-470 modified asphalt emulsions are used for the following applications:
- Waterproofing of vertical walls, party walls, foundations, etc…
- Waterproofing of roofs and terraces with several coats of the mixture, alone or with glass veil reinforcement.
- High-quality asphalt paints.
We recommend a dosage between 7.5 and 10.5% of LAITEX B-470 on the asphalt emulsion.
