LAITAC PS-3700 is a water-based vinyl-acrylic copolymer free from plasticisers, solvents and ethoxylated alkylphenols, especially suitable for use as a self-adhesive.

Applications:
LAITAC PS-3700 is especially suitable for use as a pressure-sensitive adhesive on various substrates.
This emulsion is characterised by its high adhesion, cohesion and residual tack values. In many formulations, the addition of tackifiers is not necessary, as it has very high values on its own.
LAITAC PS-3700 is compatible with most of these products.
If it is necessary to increase the viscosity, it can be increased by adding ammonia, or by adding cellulosic thickeners, acrylic acid derivatives and polyurethanes.
It is used for the manufacture of self-adhesives for paper envelopes, removable and instant adhesives (on PVC), labels, textile and footwear adhesives, etc.
- Peel at 180°C – 20 minutes: > 8 (Nw/cm)
- Peel at 180°C – 24 hours: > 12 (Nw/cm)
- Shear: > 5 hours
- Tack rolling ball: < 25 cm Loop tack: > 2 (Nw/cm)
These results have been obtained on applications of 20 gr/m2 dry, on untreated polyester and stainless steel substrates.
