LAICRIL EA-1222 is a water-based polymeric dispersion consisting of polyacrylic acids that is free from plasticisers and alkylphenol ethoxylate emulsifiers (APEOs).

Applications:
LAICRIL EA-1222 is a non-associative acrylic thickener.
The percentage to be added depends on the required viscosity.
With 2-4% of the total formulation, a viscosity of 50,000 – 70,000 mPa-s is sufficient.
To achieve the full development of the thickening agent and the consequent thickening, it is necessary to adjust the pH of the mixture (resin + LAICRIL EA-1222) to 8.0 with the addition of ammonia or another base, while stirring continuously.
