LAICRIL T-4545 is an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of acrylic esters and styrene, free from alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEO), ammonia, plasticisers and solvents.
This product is used in the textile and footwear industry as a sizing product with water-repellent properties.

LAICRIL T-4545 is a water-based resin with a fine particle size and high anchorage, suitable for the impregnation of layers, to which it confers hardness and water-repellent properties.
This emulsion can also be used in the footwear industry for the impregnation of hot formable Nappa leathers.
The quantity of LAICRIL T-4545 to be applied depends on each particular application. As a guideline, with applied quantities of 100 – 150 gr/m2 dry, good results are achieved in terms of hardness and waterproofing.
For correct use of the product on a textile support, our recommendation is to first apply a drying process for the total elimination of all water and to then proceed with the cross-linking process for 3 min. at 140-150ºC.
