LAICRIL T-2138 is an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of acrylic esters that is free from alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEO) and plasticisers and features minimal formaldehyde emission.

Applications:
LAICRIL T-2138 is a heat-crosslinkable resin at a temperature of 120-140ºC in approximately 1-5 minutes, a characteristic that allows it to offer good resistance to U.V. radiation and to the solvents commonly used in washing.
The LAICRIL T-2138 resin forms a flexible film with a medium soft touch and very good abrasion resistance properties.
The LAICRIL T-2138 emulsion is used in the textile and footwear industry as a binder for synthetic fibre waddings and fabric finishes.
For the correct use of the product on a textile support, our recommendation is to first apply a drying process for the total elimination of all water and to then proceed with the cross-linking process for 3 min. at 140-150ºC.
