LAICRIL P-1664 is an aqueous dispersion of acrylic esters and styrene, free from alkylphenol ethoxylates, for the paint industry.

Applications:
LAICRIL P-1664 acrylic emulsion forms transparent, elastic and glossy films above 2°C.
It is an emulsion specially designed for use as a primer due to its small particle size.
It can be used both to prepare very absorbent substrates or with chalking problems and to consolidate surfaces that are in poor condition. For this use it is recommended to prepare 1:2 dilutions in water.
The polymer is compatible with potassium silicate and is therefore recommended for formulating silicate primers.
