LAICON NT-5471 is an aqueous dispersion based on a styrene-butadiene latex with other selected additives, intended for the production of thermoformable needlepunched carpets for the automotive industry and also for coating in the nonwoven sector.

Hot-formed carpets or fabrics of fibrous materials for rigid parts made of LAICON NT-5471 are characterised by their very high dimensional stability and high resistance to deformation.
This product is generally applied via the one-sided impregnation process. It can be used as a foam by air insufflation.
LAICON NT-5471 is generally used for the manufacture of rigid parts. The working temperature of the furnace is usually 125°C-145°C.
