LAITEX N-1610 is an aqueous dispersion of a styrene-butadiene copolymer with a high solids content.

Applications:
LAITEX N-1610 has been developed for the formulation of compounds in the manufacture of vulcanised foams in the textile (carpet backings) and footwear (vulcanised foams for insoles) industries. The latex can be used in gel foam manufacturing processes, with ammonium acetate and
also in non-gel processes.
LAITEX N-1610 is characterised by good abrasion resistance, elongation, elasticity and delamination properties.
LAITEX N-1610 is suitable for the manufacture of articles where a foam with hardness, good elasticity and resilience is required.
The product is also used for other applications such as mattress manufacture, (in this case, it is usually mixed with approximately 20% natural latex), roof waterproofing and asphalt emulsions.
