LAICON CF-1610 is a formulated compound based on high-solids styrene-butadiene latex, containing mineral fillers and other additives.

Applications:
LAICON CF-1610 is used in the textile industry for the manufacture of vulcanized foams for carpet backing and tufted carpet applications. It has been specifically developed for the production of non-gel foam of medium quality.
The compound is also used in the manufacture of articles requiring a medium-hardness foam with good mechanical properties.
LAICON CF-1610 corresponds to Part A of the latex compound, while Part B is the vulcanizing agent. Both parts are pre-mixed prior to application and must be dosed according to the following ratio:
LAICON CF-1610/A: 95.5% – LAICON CF-1610/B: 4.5% = 100.0%
Procedure: Once both components are mixed, the product is foamed to the required density. At this stage, it is ready for application.
Vulcanization requires heat treatment at 140–150 °C for 10 minutes in a drying oven.
