Environmental policy

Conscious of the growing and ongoing issues faced by our environment, LAIEX is dedicated to achieving a solid environmental performance, in line with the demands of an ever more competitive market and an ever more concerned society.

LAIEX has a positive and committed approach to environmental management, minimising the environmental impacts arising from the performance of its activities.

Our respect for the environment is subject to continuous improvement. It requires the collaboration and participation of all levels of the organisation to achieve an environmentally responsible form of action.

In order to put these principles into practice, the LAIEX management seeks to:

  • Promote the participation and commitment of all employees towards continuous improvement of the possible environmental aspects that may be generated, by way of programmes aimed at raising awareness of respect for our surroundings.
  • Maintain and control the company’s processes and activities by way of the identification and establishment of the environmental aspects and impacts that arise, with the aim of implementing the preventive, corrective and improvement plans that contribute to improving the Environment in a responsible manner.
  • Adopt all the measures necessary to guarantee compliance with all the environmental legislation applicable to our activities at the European, State, Regional and Local levels.
  • This is why it is a member of the association QUIMACOVA which, among other things, advises on legislative matters in environmental issues and on BAT in the chemical sector.
  • Systematically reduce waste, recycling and reusing it whenever possible, and be more efficient in the consumption of natural resources, raw materials and energy. In this context, LAIEX participated in several project days as part of the SURPLUS MALL project aimed at the utilisation of industrial waste.
  • Contribute to the reduction of atmospheric emissions by way of compliance with the current environmental regulations in order to develop clean mechanisms within the Company.
  • Prevent contamination and minimise, to the greatest extent, the environmental impact we cause.
  • Guarantee dissemination of the environmental policy.
