LAICRIL W-1820 is an aqueous dispersion of a self-crosslinking polymer based on acrylic esters that is free from alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEOs), for the production of wood protection coatings for outdoor use.

Total solids: 44% ± 1.0 – Method I-10-31

Applications:

It is advisable to check compatibility with the most commonly used coalescents; butylglycol, Texanol or Dowanol DPnB are recommended.

For the use of LAICRIL W-1820 as an exterior finish for transparent wood, it is advisable to use filters and/or transparent pigments that inhibit or reduce the effect of UV rays from sunlight, thus ensuring perfect protection of the wood.

Its compatibility with fillers, pigments, additives and auxiliaries used in the varnish and paint industry is generally good. It is recommended that appropriate tests are carried out to determine the quantity and degree of compatibility of these products with the emulsion.
