LAICRIL TX-2179 is an aqueous dispersion of a polymer based on acrylic esters with very low formaldehyde emission that is free of alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEO) and plasticisers and has good electrolyte resistance.
This product is especially recommended for the finishing of fabrics for table linen.

LAICRIL TX-2179 has been developed for the application of fabrics for table linen finishes as it offers a soft touch that is free of tackiness.
This resin forms a transparent film, which makes it particularly suitable for finishing fabrics in dark shades, both plain and printed, without modifying the intensity or shade.
LAICRIL TX-2179 offers very good resistance to conventional washing without the need to incorporate any fixative.
This emulsion has a low formaldehyde content (< 30 ppm) and by applying the product correctly (± 35 gr/m2), and depending on the type of fabric used, it is possible to achieve water penetration resistance values of over 50 cm/H2O (UNE-EN 20811:1993). To achieve an optimum result in the application of LAICRIL TX-2179, it is advisable to apply a fluorocarbon bath after the application of the resin, and lastly to add a calender finish.
