Don Francisco Albors and LAIEX’s beginnings
Our story
Our origins from 1970 to the present
From an eternally youthful entrepreneurial spirit to becoming an international benchmark in water-based polymer emulsions.
In 1970, LAIEX was founded in Valencia (Spain), focusing on the manufacture of SBR compounds for the textile and automotive sectors.
In 1978, it took its first leap forward and moved to Paterna (Spain), where it established its current headquarters over an initial surface area of 14,000 m².
In 2000, LAIEX expanded its activity to the polymerisation of water-based acrylic and vinyl emulsions, thus opening the way to new markets such as paint, footwear, construction, wood and adhesives.
What started with a carpet now drives chemical solutions in more than 39 countries.
