LAICRIL W-6460 is a self-crosslinking aqueous polymeric dispersion based on acrylic esters and styrene that is free from plasticisers, solvents and alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEOs). This product is recommended for the wood coatings industry.

LAICRIL W-6460 emulsions require the addition of coalescents for the correct formation of transparent, glossy films.
It is advisable to verify compatibility with the most commonly used coalescents; butylglycol, butyldiglycol, Dowanol DPnB or Dowanol DPM are recommended.
The compatibility of this emulsion with fillers, pigments, additives and auxiliaries used in the varnish and paint industry is generally good, but it is recommended that appropriate tests are carried out to determine the amount and degree of compatibility of these products with the emulsion.
