Applications:
LAITEX BX-678 is a product specially developed to modify hot asphalt for road construction.
It is a polymer with high mechanical stability and excellent resistance to high temperatures. When modifying asphalt with LAITEX BX-678 latex,
we increase the softening point and improve the elastic recovery of the asphalt.
According to this new technology, the addition of the polymer known as LAITEX BX-678 takes place when approximately 1/10 of the total amount of asphalt to be modified is in the mixing tank and accompanied by a high stirring speed. At this point, all water vapour is removed, thus preventing the generation of bubbles.
