LAITEX NTG-5473 is an aqueous dispersion of a styrene-butadiene copolymer, intended for the manufacture of thermoformable needlepunched carpets for the automotive and for coating in the area of nonwovens.
The carpets or fabrics made of fibrous materials for rigid parts, manufactured with LAITEX NTG-5473 and hot-formed, stand out thanks to their very high dimensional and shape stability in heat.

Needle-punched carpets for automotive flooring or fibrous textile materials are treated with LAITEX NT-5473 to produce rigid parts.
When thermoformed under heat, they are characterized by very high dimensional stability and resistance to heat deformation.
LAITEX NT-5473 is generally applied by single-side impregnation. Viscosity can be adjusted by adding water or thickeners.
It can also be applied as a foam using an in-line industrial foaming machine.
The product allows the incorporation of fillers.
